Independent guides on promotional products and event marketing
Digitallabry publishes free, practical guides for people who buy branded merchandise for their own business — the owner ordering 250 pens before a trade show, not a procurement team with a six-figure budget.
Most promotional-product content online is written by suppliers trying to sell you something, or is a thin list of product names with no useful detail. We try to write the thing we wanted when we were booking our first booth: what the options actually are, what they cost, what the trade-offs are, and which mistakes waste money.
Digitallabry is a small independent publication, not a supplier and not a content farm. Our background is in digital marketing for small businesses, and the promotional-products side of this site grew out of helping local businesses prepare for trade shows and community events — working out what to order, in what quantity, and what was genuinely worth the budget.
Every guide is researched, written and edited in-house. We do not accept guest posts, sponsored articles or outsourced content. If something here is wrong, it is ours to fix — email us at digitallabry@gmail.com and we will correct it.
Our readers are small business owners and event marketers in the United States. In practice that means:
Pricing in our guides is quoted in US dollars, and sizing follows US conventions — 6 ft and 8 ft trade show tables, US apparel sizing, and so on.
We decide what is worth writing about, then look for a supplier programme. Never the other way round.
Every product category has drawbacks. We name them, including on items we earn commission from.
We publish realistic per-unit cost ranges so you can plan before you ask for a quote.
When a guide is wrong we fix it in place and update the revision date on the article.
The guides are free and there are no ads. Some outbound links are affiliate links, which means a merchant may pay us a commission if you buy after clicking one. It costs you nothing extra, and it does not change what we recommend.
We think you should be able to see exactly how that works, so it is written out in full on our affiliate disclosure page, including which merchants we work with and the standards a supplier has to meet before we will mention it.
Start with the guides index, or the beginner's guide to promotional products if this is all new.
Corrections, questions, or a topic you want covered — all welcome. Our contact page has the details, or email digitallabry@gmail.com directly.
