How we handle your information
Last updated: October 2026
Digitallabry ("we", "us", "our") publishes free written guides about promotional products, trade show giveaways and event booth branding for small business owners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit digitallabry.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Digitallabry is an independently operated publication. You can reach us at digitallabry@gmail.com.
You do not need an account to read our guides. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details. We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We use basic analytics to understand which guides people read, and some of our outbound links are affiliate links.
Our guides do not run a newsletter sign-up, and we do not ask readers to create accounts or submit personal details in order to read anything on this site.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
We use website analytics to count visits and measure which guides are read. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. Most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting, and browser extensions that block analytics scripts work on this site without breaking anything.
Some links in our guides are affiliate links. When you click one you leave Digitallabry and arrive at the merchant's own website. From that point the merchant — not us — is responsible for your data, and their privacy policy applies.
Affiliate programmes typically set a cookie in your browser so a resulting purchase can be credited to us. That cookie is set by the affiliate network or the merchant, not by Digitallabry, although one network's script runs on our pages to enable it — see section 8. We never receive your name, address, payment details or order contents. We may be told, in aggregate, that a sale occurred.
See our full affiliate disclosure for detail.
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses them sparingly:
| Type | Purpose | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps the site working and secure, including protecting forms against cross-site request forgery. | Digitallabry |
| Analytics | Counts visits and page views in aggregate. | Our analytics provider |
| Affiliate tracking | Credits a referral if you click an affiliate link and later buy something, and records that an affiliate link was shown. | The affiliate network (Awin, Impact.com) or the merchant |
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics and affiliate cookies will not stop you reading anything here.
Pages on this site load a small script from Impact.com, one of the affiliate networks we belong to. It does three things: it confirms to Impact that we control this domain, it formats outbound affiliate links so a referral can be credited to us, and it records that an affiliate link was displayed on the page.
The script may read your IP address, browser and device type, and the page you are viewing, and may set a cookie in your browser. Impact.com processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, and data captured by it may be shared with the advertisers whose programmes we belong to.
If you would rather not be measured by it, an ad- or tracker-blocking browser extension will stop the script loading, and the site will work normally without it.
We do not run Meta, TikTok or other social advertising pixels, and we do not use any of this data to build advertising audiences or to retarget you.
Server logs are kept briefly for security and troubleshooting, then discarded. Aggregated analytics are kept while they remain useful for editorial decisions. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Depending on where you live — in particular under the EU and UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email digitallabry@gmail.com. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Because we hold very little personal information, in most cases the answer will be that we hold nothing identifying you beyond an email you have sent us.
We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of under "Do Not Sell My Personal Information".
The site is served over HTTPS and we apply reasonable technical measures to protect the limited data we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our guides are written primarily for readers in the United States, but the site is readable worldwide. If you access it from outside the country where our servers are located, your data may be processed in that other country.
This site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Our guides link to merchants, manufacturers and reference sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies before giving them personal information.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and describe material changes here so you can see what changed.
